For some reason headphone manufacturers love giving you enough cable length to wrap around your body a few times. If you're in a studio and need that 10 feet of cable, it's great but if you're walking around wearing headphones that are plugged into something on your belt, it gives you a lot cable to manage. In this video I'm going to show you pro 4 techniques that will help you manage your extra long headphones cables.
To address The Chain. It's true that you're never supposed to chain an audio cable and there's a good reason for it. Pulling and tugging the cable against itself can stretch and warp the cable. This is why I specify that you should be gentle when building your chain and your chances of damage will be next to nothing. Keep in mind that repeated chaining and unchaining is a major driving force behind how an audio cable can be damaged while chaining but if you carefully build a chain using this technique, there shouldn't be any issue.
