에어버스, 나머지 A350 여객기에 대해 카타르항공과 거래 종료
Airbus has axed an outstanding order from Qatar Airways amid a dispute over the condition of previously ordered planes.
Industry sources say the scrapped order was for 19 Airbus A350 long-haul aircraft, worth a total of around 3 billion U.S. dollars.
It comes amid a dispute over the condition of 20 previously ordered planes, which Qatar Airways claims are degrading prematurely.
The planes reportedly had damage to anti-lightning mesh exposed by peeling paint.
Airbus has said the issue is cosmetic, but Qatar Airlines says it could pose a risk to passengers and is suing Airbus for 1-point-4 billion dollars after grounding half its fleet.
