A seatpost can become seized on most bikes, and, if you leave it too long, you may need to damage the frame or the seatpost to get it out. That's where GCN comes in. Strong man and ex-professional cyclist Daniel Lloyd uses the humble kettle and shows you how to remove a seatpost with minimal damage to your frame and the seatpost. (Spoiler alert - Daniel had the help of his much stronger friends...) Don't break out the hacksaw, the chemicals or the vice just yet!
To prevent further issues, GCN also has tips on how to avoid your seatpost becoming seized again!
