Joy. Some find it in a meal. Others, in a melody. It’s at the top of mountains and the bottom of coasters. It’s in the big moments and the not-so-big ones. It’s that elusive feeling we always seem to be searching for—yearning for.

Maybe it’s because joy is the reason we exist. The center of God’s plan. And it’s why He sent his son, Jesus Christ. His sacrifice takes all the pain, the sorrow, the heartache we experience, and replaces them with joy. Joy that lasts more than a moment. Joy that can endure grief. Joy that can lift us even on our darkest days.

So in your never-ending search for joy, don’t forget to search here (scriptures) and here (church) and here (prayer). Because the strongest joy is grounded in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
