During the 2022 Southern Baptist Convention, leaders within the Southern Baptist churches released a 205 page list of alleged sexual predators that spans 20 years. More than 700 cases of alleged sexual abuse were documented from 2000 to 2019, but the list was hidden from the proper authorities. Even though the alleged abuse was known by church officials, the list was still kept hidden. Because of the secrecy, more children became victims of sexual abuse. Now the list is public and the names of the alleged predators are public record now. Moving forward, how will the church learn to protect it's children from current and future sexual predators?
