I was picking up a bag of soil at the Home Depot the other day and there was what seemed about a million Moon Cactus everywhere I turned, soooooo I naturally brought one home with me!😅

So what is a Moon Cactus exactly? I have always wondered.🤔
A Moon Cactus is first of all a grafted cactus.
A grafted cactus is the process of growing two types of cactus into one by placing the top part (the scion) and taping or tying it to the bottom part
(the rootstock) and patiently waiting for it to "graft" together.
Neat right?!
What makes the "Moon Cactus" is the specific combination of Gymnocalycium Mihanovichii Friedrichii (the top cactus) and Hylocerus
(the bottom cactus).
Now that you know a little about this gorgeous plant, run to Home Depot and get yourself one. They come in multiple colors but I personally like the red and orange combo.
