Maputo Protocol is an International human rights instrument established by Arican Union in 2005 to provide a comprehensive set of human rights for African women which include fighting against FGM
Her Excellency honored women who fought for human rights by sacrificing themselves to make Africa where it is today
“mothers do not just meet; their meeting must count for something. They meet to a transforming agenda”, she said
Her Excellency urged women to unite in solidarity and harmony and work together, promote each other but not fight each other
