In this video we look at the importance of timing in pool and how a perfectly timed cue action can greatly increase the action on the cue ball. We look "What is timing?" and how it's about accelerating through the ball. We use the screw back shot as an example and study how timing increases the back spin on the cue ball.
The shots are carried out on a 7ft UK 8 ball table but most of the same principles apply to both american pool and snooker.
