The Pixel Balls! exhibit at the New York World Maker Faire was great fun!

Several thousand visitors stopped by our table to see the 'digital' sparkleballs and how easily they are made. At one point I counted seventeen people gathered around the table!
The sparkleball 'hat' was very popular and hundreds of people took photos of their family and friends wearing it. The diffraction glasses were also very popular and hundreds of people oohed and aahed when they looked at the exhibit through them.
We received many kind words and positive comments. The Pixel Balls! exhibit received three Editor's Choice blue ribbons from the editors of Make magazine.
Special thanks to my friend Esther for coming to New York and helping to setup, run, and breakdown the exhibit. And thanks again to the Sparkleball Lady and all my friends who inspired and helped me create my first Maker Faire exhibit in May.
