As she ramps up her campaign for the White House, Vice President Kamala Harris’ immigration policy stances are under increased scrutiny.
While she was never given the title “border czar,” President Joe Biden did task her with addressing the root causes of the influx of migrants to the U.S. southern border.
As part of that tasking, Harris pushed for a Biden-led bipartisan bill that would have overhauled immigration law but failed in the Senate after former President Donald Trump pushed for Republicans to vote against it.
