After 1 year of the route's retaining by Metroline West (along with 487) in 2023, these electric buses make an appearance this year 2024. These buses were first on the 487, and now is starting to appear on 187. Electric buses are to be fully allocated on the route by Spring 2025, and the Enviro 200 buses will no longer be under TfL operation. Other routes in Willesden Junction (WJ) Bus Garage, such as 206, 228 and 316 are due to have these buses fully allocated on the same year as well, but for now they remain using DEL-fleeted Enviro 200 Facelift and MMC buses.
