Mastering Rhythm With Konnakol (40) The Hourglass 👏

This is the third video about rhythmic formulas in Konnakol (Konnakkol). In this case, we're looking at a couple of basic 'X' shaped or 'Hourglass-shaped' formulas where we start with reduction and then expansion or augmentation.

I've taken the first example (4 + 3 + 2 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 3 + 4) off the Trichy Sankaran Konnakkol book but have adjusted it for a 5 beat cycle (5/8 or 2.5 beats). The second formula is something I've been playing around with (7 + 5 + 3 + 1 + 1 + 3 + 5 + 7).
