This is a short video discussing and illustrating two possible seating positions in a canoe for lake paddling while alone: Using the "front" seat but facing toward the stern, and then on your knees just behind the center strut. Advantages and disadvantages are discussed for different conditions of wind and waves. Very much an introductory video for new comers to the sport.
