Here is another shot of one of the Class 40 Preservation Society locomotives (D335) taken on the same day as my other file titled 'D335 Arrival at Bury Bolton Street'. It's Saturday 3rd February 2007 on the East Lancashire Railway, with this powerful engine seen here passing by the level crossing at Ramsbottom, making its way to Bury Bolton Street. This was the best part of the day weatherwise, although there was still a nip in the air, but as we can hear, this not deter this 2000hp English Electric engine from sounding sweet whilst adding another dimension to the usual sound of traffic noise in this small Lancashire town situated in the Irwell Valley.
