There are two sections of this video.In the first part of the video,different 20 constituencies of Punjab province have been briefly analyzed with respect to by-elections.It has been told that after the decision of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, the Election Commission of Pakistan D-Seat Notification has been issued to these 20 PTI's defected members who elected Mian Hamza Shehbaz as Chief Minister in Punjab Chief Ministerial election and then the Election Commission of Pakistan has issued notification to hold by-elections in these constituencies.Due to which by-elections are going to be held in 20 constituencies of Punjab on 17 July 2018.
It is further stated in this video that PML(N) and Hamza Shehbaz must win at least 10 of these 20 seats in order to retain the Chief Ministership in Punjab and prove their majority in the Punjab Assembly on 22 July 2022.Otherwise Retaining the Punjab Chief Ministership will be difficult for PML(N).PTI needs to win at least 11 seats to maintain its majority in Punjab Assembly.In the 2018 general elections,Independent Candidates were successful in eleven constituencies out of these twenty constituencies and these independent candidates defeated the Muslim League( N)&PTI ticket holders and later on these 11 independent candidates joined PTI.There are Nine constituencies out of twenty where the candidates on PTI ticket won and elected as MPA.
PP90 Darya Khan (2)
In the 2018 general elections, Saeed Akbar Nawani defeated PML-N District General Secretary Irfanullah Niazi and after then he joined PTI.Tickets have been given these two candidates by opposite sides in the recent by-elections.Both the candidates are participating in the by-elections by changing their political loyalties.The people of the constituency have to decide.
PP-83 Khushab (2)
Independent candidate Malik Ghulam Rasool defeated Muslim League-N candidate Malik Asif Bha in the 2018 general elections.
Other constituencies from which independent candidates were elected in the 2018 general elections are PP 97 Faisalabad(1),PP 217 Multan(7),PP 237 Bahawalnagar,PP 272 Muzaffargarh(5),P P282 Liyyah(2),P288 Dera Ghazi Khan(4)
