Classic "Pizza Al Tonno" Recipe in English!
Pizza Al Tonno is a simple Italian pizza that consists of a basic pizza dough that is topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and olive oil-packed tuna.
I grew up in Italy & pizza is one of my childhood favourite food! 😊 This recipe is made by mum.
In this video, I have made this Pizza Al Tonno, by using authentic Italian canned Tuna, which gives me the actual taste of Italian Tuna Pizza! Hope you guys like this recipe 😊
____________________Ingredients Used__________________
____YEAST MIXTURE____
- Sugar 1 Tbsp
- Yeast 1 Tsp
- Warm Water 1/2 Cup
NOTE: If you use active dry yeast, then you do not need to dissolve active dry yeast in warm water before using it. Therefore, you can directly add the yeast with the flour.
_____DOUGH_____
- All Purpose Flour 2 Cups
- Salt 1 Tbsp
- Oil 1/3 Cup
_____Pizza Toping_____
- Pizza Sauce as required … Recipe Link: [ Ссылка ]
- Mozzarella as required
- Canned Tuna as required ( NOTE: Use a canned tuna in olive oil if possible, so that it will give you the actual taste of Italian Pizza Al Tonno!)
- Sliced Onion as required
- Oregano as required
In addition, you can add sliced capsicums, zucchini or any other vegetables, but the authentic Tuna pizza is made by using only onion; therefore, I have only used sliced onions!
___BAKING IN OVEN___
Bake at 200°C or 390°F in a pre-heated Oven for 10-12 minutes.
