Man, it was tough finding an Doom album in my collection that is not on the tube. But as always, I found one...
"Hierophant" was a one-man Funeral Doom project that evolved into "Catacombs". The work done here in the world of Xathagorra is among my favorite of the Funeral genre. Gutturals that invoke Hell itself, crushing guitars, and eerie melodies that not only instill fear; but they also bring a sense of joy in the madness and darkness.
I present to you "The Tome", a compilation of all three releases from Hierophant. These works have been a true inspiration for me in creating music.
