U.K. Prime Minister Liz Truss resigned after less than two months in office amid pressure following a reversal of economic policies that led to economic instability.
Truss' 45 days in office are the least by any prime minister in United Kingdom's history. The previous record was held by George Canning, who only served 121 days, Canning died during his time in office.
