The Huawei P30 Pro is one year old so here's my long-term 2020 review of one of the best flagship smartphones around. Not to mention the brand's last major handset to boast Google services. From the versatile and dependable camera tech to the solid battery life, the Huawei P30 Pro still feels pleasingly fresh. And this mobile can happily cut it with the latest flagships like the Galaxy S20 ad Pixel 4 in many areas, even if some features like the screen refresh rate and general specs have been improved upon elsewhere.

I still rate that camera as one of the best of any Android phone in 2020, thanks to the excellent photo quality in almost any conditions. Plus, that telephoto lens is hard to beat. Huawei's EMUI 10 software is a delight, even if some of the Mate 30 Pro features are missing in action. And battery life is still excellent, easily lasting the day with heavy use.
