This song is inspired by TARANTA myth, Pizzica music that has been playing in Apulia and Southern Italy for almost 3,000 years and that is still used for healing purposes and to get Reiki, the universal energy that balances mind and body. The song was composed by illustrious composer Ermanno Corrado (lyrics by Cinzia Corrado) who completely arranged and recorded the song beside making the video in his top-noch Recording Studio & Video facility located in Supersano (LE).

PASSIONE TARANTA who plays here the unpublished song "Sentilu Stu Sule" ( Feel the Sun) which is included in the album of the group "Fimmine fimmine" listenable on Spotify (Italian World Music - IWM record label). In his concerts Passione Taranta offers Pizzica, Taranta and World Music from Salento, a repertoire of traditional Salento songs and original songs both in acoustic version and with world music sounds.

PASSIONE TARANTA is a talented female 4-piece band from Apulia (Italy) whose obsessive and hypnotic "Pizzica & Taranta Rhythm" mixes sensual melodies in the authentic Mediterranean and Southern Italian soul style. The band formed up in the Spring of 2013, signing with renowned Label "Italian World Music", then Manager Canio Rosario Maffucci got support from his European partner Ken Day (D-Tours). The band soon started to gain both attract enthusiastic reviews and real public acclaim. Since performing at URKULT Festival 2013 (Sweden), achieving a resounding success in Italy. PASSIONE TARANTA was initially made up by Consuelo Alfieri (Diatonique accordeon & Guitar), violinist Asia Macchia, Alessia Cazzetta on tambourine and the sensual dancer Stefania Della Bona (also back vocals and tambourine). The sound of the band evokes Southern Italian archaic traditions weaved in the dream-like Greek and Mediterranean atmospheres. Since 2019 the band has a 5-pieces line-up with violinist Ermanno Corrado (the composer and arranger of all original songs) and Luisa Campa (former singer of ZIMBARIA) that is also the new singer and guitarist of the band.
The result is simply enchanting as it combines power in sound and artistic beauty: PASSIONE TARANTA is a brand new storming sound that sweep people off their feet ... leaving audience wanting even more dancing!
