The Christiana Hospital Stroke Program has been recognized as a Comprehensive Stroke Center, the most advanced level of expertise in stroke care by national certifying organization The Joint Commission. We are the only center to achieve this distinction within our region of south-eastern Pennsylvania, eastern Maryland, southern New Jersey, and Delaware, outside of centers in urban Philadelphia or Baltimore.
