A Team from Prasarana Malaysia Bhd, with the guidance of the experts from the Thales Group, had been working hard to identify the root cause of the disruption on the Kelana Jaya Light Rail Transit (LRT) line.
Caretaker Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong said the team is troubleshooting it and is conducting test runs on the trains so that it will conform to the safety standard.
He said a technical team from the Land Public Transport Agency (APAD) is also onsite conducting the testing, which was expected to be completed by 5 am today.
LRT operator Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd had said an unstable Automated Train Control (ATC) system had been identified as the cause of service disruption on the Kelana Jaya LRT line on Saturday and Monday.
