We install a Cartell CP 3 free exit probe. They were lasting beyond their life expectation but the owner wanted to put it in conduit.
We had to use a couple of reducers to go from1/2" to 1" and we capped the end of the conduit as well. These exit probes are made for direct burial so this is not necessary. This was a suggestion from our customer and we saw no reason why the conduit and glue would be an issue. So far it has not been!
