A 21-year-old Cleveland man was arrested Saturday after allegedly walking into Tower City with a gun and making threats.
According to a criminal complaint obtained by 3News, the suspect, 21-year-old George Ivery "did threaten to commit a shooting and made the threat to intimidate a civilian population."
Ivery is now facing a third degree felony charge — making terroristic threat.
The Cleveland Division of Police allege that Ivery entered Tower City on Saturday, Nov. 9, at around 3:05 p.m. with a firearm. While he was inside, police received multiple calls for a male threatening individuals with a gun.
Sergeant Freddy Diaz says that security at Tower City told officers the man was on Instagram Live recording himself making the threats in the mall.
In the complaint, police also note that they found the suspect's Instagram account with a video of him allegedly shooting a gun and firing four rounds into the air.
In other videos, police say Ivery appeared to be in a Cleveland State University parking garage pointing a gun at people driving on I-90. An additional video shows Ivery allegedly walking through downtown Cleveland with a rifle while making threats.
