The first book in the series - The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones - has been adapted into a film and will arrive into UK cinemas on August 21st. The film stars Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower, Robert Sheehan, Kevin Zegers, Jemima West, Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Lena Headey.
