4 SD40E's lead a monster NS mixed freight 10N as it comes up track 1 at Cassandra, 6324, 6304, 6302, 6305, and 9777 pull as hard as they can and were hardly able to make the hill with a 2 mile long train as they were barely making 10 MPH and the first 5 units all in notch 8. And a helper set on the rear 6306, and 6303. With chatter on the radio 10N has to stop up at Cresson MO, still miss tho’s SD40-2’s tho.
At 6:21 you can hear the approach of NS 38Q mixed freight comes up the grade on track 2 with 9332, and 8324 pulling the freight up hill at Cassandra with 6327, and 6317 pushing on the rear. A nice race comes to a cool helper meet as they both go around the bend. Enjoy!!
