HOME SEWN original New Zealand Fashion is an exhibition by the New Zealand Fashion Museum that takes its inspiration from a growing interest among young people in sewing as a means of creating their own personal style. Bringing together over 40 examples of garments that were home sewn and worn here from the 1930s through to the present day, the exhibition includes personal stories, original photographs and the paper patterns that were used.
