California Democratic lawmakers in the state Assembly and Senate have reached an agreement on the state budget, legislative leaders announced on Monday. Monday's announcement marks another step forward in the process for lawmakers and the governor to agree on a state spending plan. Gov. Gavin Newsom is not part of the latest deal and he ultimately needs to agree in order for the budget to go into effect. KCRA 3 Capitol Correspondent Ashley Zavala reports.
