After significant efforts to isolate a persistent misfire, I have come across one more hurdle to overcome. In today’s world, you need to be aware of the existence of FAKE or COUNTERFEIT spark-plugs. In this episode, I do my best to teach you what to look for and how to identify a fake 41-108 ACDelco sparkplug. While this is a relevant comparison for today, as counterfeiters’ duplication skills improve, they may find ways in the future to overcome some of the shortcomings I identified in the replica product I purchased.
