The plan for Team Sunweb at this year’s Tour de France is to aim for stage wins. A big part of that plan is Michael Matthews, the 26-year-old speedster from Australia who joined the team this year. Matthews and his leadout man Nikias Arndt made their final Tour preparations at an altitude camp in the high Alps of Livigno, Italy. We talked to Michael, aka “Bling” about his Tour ambitions, his role on the team, and his long history of riding and racing on Giant bikes.
