One of the last songs she sung in 1958, becoming another portuguese classic, before retirement. The reason of the retirement being a marriage with João Xara-Brasil.

She probally was last seen on television singing this song back in 1981, on RTP 1, for the show "...E o resto são cantigas", a show where we could listen songs from the portuguese music from the late 30's to the 60's, songs that became indeed popular. She passed away in Lisbon, as far as 1996

The song was made by two great songwriting veterans of the portuguese music at the time: José Galhardo and Raúl Ferrão
