In its folk song concert on October 4, 2015 at the Kölner Philharmonie, the Cologne Male Voice Choir presented folk songs from Germany and Europe in sonorous arrangements put together especially for this concert.

"Der Mond ist aufgegangen" ("The moon has risen") is a German lullaby first published in 1779. It remains one of the most popular German traditionals.
