A fire in Tuolumne County has prompted evacuations near the communities of Jamestown and Sonora, the sheriff's office said. Evacuation orders were issued for residents on Golden Dove Lane and Silver Pine Drive, according to the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office. With evacuation orders, there is an immediate threat to life and you are lawfully required to evacuate. Stockton Road is closed from Highway 108 to Ponderosa Way, the sheriff's office said.
