This is a TIME SENSITIVE PPP UPDATE for you if you are Self Employed, have Self Employment income, and are interested to see if you can get more PPP Money.

(***UPDATE from posting this video*** I am waiting to confirm clarification from the SBA as to whether or not those that have applied prior to February 24th (like myself) are eligible to receive a retroactive figures to apply for this new, larger loan amount calculation)

Whether you're applying for PPP Round 2 as a first draw applicant OR a second draw applicant there is new guidance issued that allows for gig workers, Uber Drivers, Lyft Drivers, Sole Proprietors, Small Business Owners, and the Self Employed to now use your Schedule C Line 7 GROSS Business Revenue instead of your NET Business Revenue on Schedule C Line 31.

In this PPP Round 2 Self Employed video I go over a quick math example of how much MORE PPP Money you can get with this new calculation. Keep an eye on the SBA website for further updates and stay in touch with your lender to see if you can adjust your current PPP Loan Application to reflect this new calculation which should allow you to get a larger forgivable PPP Loan.
