Ride along with Roger Mandeville for a race lap in our 1960 Porsche RS-60. Roger drove this Spyder back in 2012 on our visit to Lime Rock Park for the 30th Historic Festival. The guest of honor was none other than Sir Stirling Moss. To celebrate, the race included a class composed exclusively of ‘50s and 60s sports racers of the type previously driven by Moss. Such a grid wouldn’t be complete without our Porsche RS-60 (serial number 718-041).
Of course, Sir Stirling himself might have hesitated to drive our Spyder again: at the Nürburgring 1000km in 1961, Moss piloted this car from dead last to P2 and was chasing down the leader... when the engine gave out!
