(21 Jun 2017) Belgian foresnic police inspected a house in the Brussels neighbourhood of Molenbeek on Wednesday, following a foiled attack at the city's central station the previous day.
A heavy police presence was visible at the house, as forensic police dressed in protective suits carried boxes and bags full of evidence out of the property.
It was not clear if the house was the home of the suspect in the attack, although the man is known to have lived in the neighbourhood - the home and transit point for many of the suspects linked to attacks in Brussels in March 2016 and Paris in November 2015.
Late on Tuesday, the perpetrator charged soldiers at Brussels Central Station after his suitcase, which contained nails and gas canisters, failed to fully explode.
A federal magistrate in Belgium said the suspect, who was shot and killed by soldiers at the Brussels central station, was of Moroccan nationality and wasn't known to authorities for terror activities.
Nobody else was injured.
Belgium has been on high alert since suicide bombers killed 32 people at Brussels airport and a subway station on March 22, 2016.
