Lockdown measures have been lifted in the Chinese province of Hubei, except in the capital city of Wuhan. The eased restrictions came into effect Wednesday and allows for transport in and out of the province. But Taiwan said that its citizens living in Hubei will not yet be allowed to arrange their own flights back to Taiwan.Central Epidemic Command Center chief Chen Shih-chung announced that border controls will remain in place for Taiwanese returning from Hubei, because it is still considered a high-risk zone. Chen said that the repatriation of Taiwanese in Hubei would be handled through charter flights that deliver them straight into Taiwan’s quarantine system.
