This is my Kodi 18 Leia setup and my build for 2017. I'm using the Estuary Skin Mod V2. Kodi 18 to me is very stable. the kodi build is 113mb and itd pretty light. should work perfect on your firestick.
make sure you install by using ARES WIZARD ONLY!!!!
And also make sure you update metalliQ add-on. It will force close on first install.. go to add-ons,and scroll to the top with the open box, and go to my add-ons, video add-ons and update metalliQ version 2.0.6k.
