The last rites of Assam brave heart Sunil Kalita who passed away at the AIIMS in New Delhi on Thursday has been performed.
Kalita's mortal remains reached Guwahati on Friday night, while rich tributes were paid to the martyr at the Airport, the 32-year-old Kalita was a part of an operation against the Naxals at Kurchai in Saraikela district of Jharkhand on May 28 and was injured in an IED blast.
