If you venture away from the tourist areas in Paphos you will find a rich variety of scenery waiting for you. The Diarizos Valley is one such destination, containing a host of historical sites and tempting taverns. About half way up it, you will find the Monastery of Saint Savvas of Karonos. It is well worth a visit, and while you are there, be sure to take in the amazing scenery.
We often get asked about the music. We can't always provide the answer but in this case it is Franz Schubert's Impromptu #4

▬ Ayia Napa, Protaras and Paralimni ▬
The East of Cyprus is famous for its sandy beaches and party lifestyle, but there is so much more to it than that. In this road trip we take you around Ayia Napa, Protaras and Paralimni. We also visit Cape Greco and numerous beaches along the way, as well as other interesting attractions. We even have time to take in the new Marina. The route is circular, beginning and ending at the Sculpture Park in Ayia Napa. If you are based in Protaras or Paralimni you can start in those towns and jump to the appropriate point. We do however recommend coming to the Sculpture Park and starting there, as it is best viewed either in the morning or evening.
