Here's a recipe for stir-fry tofu puffs:
Ingredients:
* 1 package of firm tofu puffs
* 2 tbsp vegetable oil
* 3 garlic cloves, minced
* 1 orange or red bell pepper, sliced
* 1 medium onion, sliced
* 3 tbsp oyster sauce
* 1 tbsp cornstarch diluted in 2 tbsp water
* 1 cup water
* 1 tsp turmeric
* 1 tsp mushroom powder
* 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
* Green onions, sliced, for garnish
Instructions:
1. Drain the tofu puffs and pat them dry with a paper towel.
2. In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water. Set aside.
3. In a large skillet or wok, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and onion and sauté for 2-3 minute.
4. Add carrots, sliced bell peppers, zucchini, sliced radish and stir-fry for 4-5 mins or until they are tender but still crisp.
5. Add mushroom powder and the red pepper flakes (optional)
6. Add tofu puffs and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they are heated through.
7. In a separate pan pour in the 1 cup of water 3 tbsp oyster sauce and some red pepper flakes (optional) mix throughly then add the cornstarch mixture sauce and stir-fry for another minute or until the sauce thickens
8. Add the sauce to the stir fry vegetables mix together till everything costs evenly.
9. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot over rice or noodles.
