This week we move the post a little and the best way to kick the game is to start super early . We just did that and as the light increased we were off . To take part in this week friendly competition the goal was to catch at least 2 species , at least 3 fish in total and to eventually measure 4 fish . We all went for perch and pike . Perch fishing was fine on the drop shot from Rabala . fishing light is a must to fool those fishes . Pike fishing was difficult in the morning , Tam the chef did well and led the group . We then went on the grand explore tour of the loch and things started to shake up a bit . I hooked and measure a 70cm pike and straight went to witness Glen's Perch . At 42 cm and bigger than a rugby ball that was enough for a big smile . Any perch over 40 cm in lenght are specimen fish and never easy to find nor catch . It was then lunch break on the island with Tam the chef and a treat from my wife Deborah , the key lime pie . That went down a treat wish some laughs as well . We carried on fishing with more perch and pike . Glen went his way and got his reward pike winning the competition . Ending and finishing up . Glen , Nico ,Tam ,Charlie ,Chris and Steve .
