Took 8 hrs to reach dentam from gangtok, due to roads being repaired. it usually takes 6 hrs. Dentam is famous for elachi, broom and alpine cheese. Uttarey is famous for "SINGSHORE BRIDGE", TENZING- HILLARY MEMORIAL PARK, TROUTS and its the base for trekkers to many places. The lake that is being built in uttarey has been under construction for about 25 years. there is no Jio network yet. vodafone and airtel work just fine.
