In my opinion the W-King D9-1 is one of the best budget Bluetooth speakers on the market. This one has a whopping 60 watts and can be paired to another D9-1 for 120 watts of power. It has two equalizer modes and if you like bass, these speakers have a nice punchy bass sound. The D9-1 is not the same as the D9. The D9-1 is their latest speaker which came out after the D9. The D9-1 came out in July 2021 and has the latest drivers installed.

Sadly, the news is W-King could no longer get the chips for the D9 because of the chip shortage. Apparently they are no longer going to be making the D9 anymore and are selling whatever stock they have left. They had to get different chips to make the radio, so the newer version of the D9 is called the D9-1. The D9 will not pair with the D9-1. Only two D9-1 speakers can be paired together.

These speakers are warm sounding with punchy bass and I love the heft of these speakers. They weigh 6+ pounds and are very well made. The back has a TF card slot for micro SD cards, an aux port, a USB C port and a regular USB port. It comes with a built in 12,000 MAH power bank so you can charge your iPhone or Android phone. It has one big rectangular bass radiator on the back. It also comes with a 3.5mm Stereo Aux cord and a USB C charging cable (one end is USB C and the other end is regular USB 2.0). It is not completely waterproof, but can take some splashes of water and is IP6 rated.
