Marino Ballena National Park is one of the most beautiful national parks in Costa Rica. It was created to protect the wildlife, specifically the humpback whales that pass through there and encompasses both land and water. There is a section of the beach where two beaches come together to create what the locals call "Whale's Tail." Marino Ballena National Park is in Uvita, a small town in the South Pacific.
