South Korea is gearing up to reconnect three inter-Korean railroads... that were severed during the Korean War.
Seoul′s land minister Suh Seoung-hwan says the government is starting actual preparations to run trains across the border... that will connect the South Korean capital to cities in the North, including Pyongyang.
The railroad project... is a key element of President Park Geun-hye′s ′Eurasia Initiative′ which includes an envisioned transcontinental express project reaching Europe through Russia and China.
