Dylan tells the story of how he came to create shared experiences that delight and connect people to each other. Through examples of his work in product design -- spanning health care, technology, music and culture -- Dylan reveals the power of design to create, capture and share experiences that weren’t possible before. For the first time ever in front of a live audience, he demonstrates the Lumatone -- a microtonal music keyboard designed to mine new human emotional responses not possible with current musical instruments. Dylan Horvath is an engineer, industrial designer and entrepreneur who explores how to use design to improve human experiences. He is the President and CEO of Cortex Design, an award-winning product design firm based in Toronto. Dylan and his team design medical devices and consumer products that foster human connection, improve health outcomes, and allow people to do things that they couldn’t before -- everything from wearable devices to portable 3D printers to musical instruments. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at [ Ссылка ]
