Due to constant wear and tear, RC Car steering servos can sometimes fail. On the same vein, many basic RC cars will require upgrading when you would like to enter a competition. Today's newer high-end servos have a greater degree of responsiveness and dependability, and a new servo usually gives the driver a higher confidence to take on a race.
