Colombia has always been a very popular and inexpensive backpacker destination! In Medellín you can find affordable accommodation, cheap food and drinks, and great free or reduced cost tours. I absolutely loved making it my home base for a 7 day trip. I can’t recommend it enough for a budget traveler 🙌🏻.
