About us:
The Outlook Responsible Tourism Initiative has been rallying to protect and preserve India’s heritage, be it a monument or an art form, an endangered bird or a musical tradition, out in the countryside or in our own backyard. We do it by celebrating and supporting people and planet-friendly travel companies, hotels, and homestays. We do it by telling travellers about the wonderful journeys they can take.
We are one of the 5 affiliate members of UN Tourism in India. We work closely with the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), the Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI), and over 20 states across the country to create responsible content, organize impact-led outreach programmes in remote regions, and host India’s most prestigious responsible tourism awards. We are also proud to have Incredible India as our partner for the Indian Responsible Tourism Awards for the past nine years.
